Third iteration of THE INFRANET selected for the FullDome Festival at the Zeiss Planetarium Jena in Jena, Germany — the oldest continuously operating planetarium in the world, originally opened in 1926 and now fully renovated venue.
Presented within a space that has defined the history of artificial night skies for a century, THE INFRANET enters a lineage where science, technology, and imagination first merged into the experience of the dome. The renewed planetarium preserves this legacy while expanding its possibilities, hosting contemporary fulldome works that explore new frontiers of immersive media.
Being part of this context places THE INFRANET within one of the most significant references in dome cinema history — a space where the evolution of the medium is both preserved and actively reimagined through new technological and artistic practices.
